We are looking for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse (RGN) to join a nationally recognised specialist provider. This community based role with various opportunities within Birmingham.
As Community Chemotherapy Nurse You will typically see 3 – 4 patients a day offering them a range of Hematological and solid tumour Chemotherapy treatments.
The patient list and medication will be delivered to your home the night before and you will be given a portable fridge for transportation of the medication the next day.
As Community Chemotherapy Nurse you will get
- Up to £37,816 per annum
- £4,250 car allowance
The criteria to apply for this Community Chemotherapy Nurse role is:
- A car driver with Full driving licence
- Previous experience administering Chemotherapy – Essential
- Full NMC registration with no restrictions
- Availability to start work within the next 4 weeks
Key responsibilities for this Community Chemotherapy Nurse opportunity include:
- Taking blood samples from patients
- Toxicity assessments
- Oral and IV Chemo administration
- Pump disconnections
- Line care
- IM/SC injections
