Childrens Social Worker | Edge of Care | Non Case holding
Direct work with Children is the thing that I am told time and time again keeps social workers in the job – most referencing the joy of positive outcomes and making a positive change. That being said it often comes hand in hand with towering caseloads and other stresses; it is these I imagine lead to the all too familiar burn out.
I am currently looking for social workers who love that direct work with children to join an Edge of Care team in the Channel Islands. You will be working for a minimum of 9 months in an intensive service that looks to provide direct intervention and deescalate the issues that lead too often to young people ending up in care.
Due to the work you will not be directly holding cases, but working alongside the case holding workers and leads who will provide guidance to the work within the young persons care plan.
The pay rate will be around £36.50/h, but that will come hand in hand with subsidised accommodation, travel, and the minimal island tax rate of 20%.
If you are interested in continuing to make a difference, whilst managing to avoid mounting case work then please call James on 0203 053 1048, or email your CV so I can provide more info on this unique role.
