Leaders In Care

Want to earn one of the highest Looked After Children pay in South Wales? If so, Leaders in Care can help. I’m currently working closely with a council who has a vacancy in their Looked After Children team paying £40!

This team oversees all aspects of a child’s care plan and helps make sure that they are supported to reach their potential and achieve what they want to. The work here is varied, with lots of relationship based direct work with children, carers and families, some court work, and liaison with others to form a supportive team around the family. Where children live at home with their parents, workers need to be able to manage risk effectively.

What is in it for you?

  • Competitive pay rate £36-£40
  • Stable Authority
  • 16-20 Caseload
  • Supportive family

Workers in this team have a manageable caseload. Currently workers in this team have between 16 – 20 children that they work with, which varies depending on what each child needs. They are helped by social care officers, supervising social workers, and business support. There is also a psychological service, Enfys, with a range of experts, clinic psychologists, OT, mental health workers etc which support children in this team.

Why should you consider leaders in Care?
