We are looking for a Deputy Home Manager (nurse qualified), to work within a small nursing home just outside of Blackpool, Lancashire. The 30 bed home has a fantastic reputation, and this role is perfect for someone who values kindness, and wants to make a real difference in the lives of residents.

As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will:
  • Oversee and assist with all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
  • Provide valuable support, guidance, and assistance to the team.
  • Hands on nursing duties.
  • Develop strong relationships with key partners within the community.
  • Ensure adequate staffing through efficient management of staff rotas.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in running the Home.

The role of Deputy Home Manager role comes with a comprehensive package, including:

The ideal Deputy Nurse Manager will have:
  • Proven clinical experience in a nursing home environment at Clinical Lead, Deputy, or Home Manager level
  • Active NMC pin - RGN, RMN or RNLD
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate care plans and medication records.
  • Excellent clinical skills
