The Vale of Glamorgan’s Intake Team is seeking experienced and motivated practitioners to join as a Practitioner Manager, providing oversight, supervision, and decision-making at our front door.

About the Intake Team:

The Intake Team is at the forefront of supporting families during initial referrals to Children and Young People Services.

Practitioner Managers play a crucial role in:

• Overseeing assessments and section 47 enquiries.
• Ensuring timely and effective decision-making at the front door.
• Supporting social workers with complex cases and providing consistent supervision.
• Promoting a calm, child-focused approach to families often in crisis.
