About the Intake Team

Join a fast-paced, dynamic team focused on supporting families during initial referrals to Children and Young People Services. This team manages:

• Assessments and section 47 enquiries.
• Identifying necessary support for families and transferring them to family support teams for longer-term interventions.
• Issuing court proceedings when required.

You’ll need to be empathetic, calm, and child-focused, offering stability and understanding to families often in crisis. With every day bringing new challenges, this role is ideal for adaptable and compassionate social workers.
