However, this doesn’t have to be the case as you now have the chance to work for a stable LAC team based in the Greater Manchester area. This will provide you with moderate cases that will not eat into your evenings and lose time in your personal life outside of social work.
To make it easier for you, the team has implemented hybrid working days of 1 or 2 days working from home where you can focus on your cases and produce the best quality of work you can provide for the children and families that you work with. Don’t forget this also provides you with a better work-life balance to see those close to you.
Have you ever worked with managers that have a tendency to breathe down your neck and critic irrelevant aspects of your work?... Not here, the managers respect your professional opinion and want to implement any innovative ideas that you can put forward. They allow you to reign your diary and do not restrict you when carrying your cases.
If you have no LAC experience that isn’t an issue as they will consider social workers with solid experience in Court and Child Protection
As this is a statutory role, a Social Work qualification and registration to Social Work England (SWE) must be considered
