As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:

  • Supervise a defined group of team members and contribute to their CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patients' conditions and needs.
  • Provide high standards of care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement.
  • Contribute to patient assessments and care plans, monitoring progress.
  • Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and team members.
  • Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, promoting ethical practice.
