Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding children and promoting their well-being? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a supportive and dynamic team in South Wales as a Safeguarding Social Worker within Children’s Services.

Your Role:

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you’ll be at the heart of protecting children and ensuring their safety. You’ll handle manageable caseloads, working collaboratively with families, multi-agency partners, and colleagues to create positive outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assessments and create care plans tailored to the needs of children and their families.
  • Attend Child Protection Conferences and Court Hearings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and families to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and solutions for complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.

As this is a statutory role you are required to have a Social Work qualification and full registration to Social Care Wales
