New rate!
Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young adults aged 18-25 during their transition into independent living? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a friendly and hard-working local authority in the West Midland as a Transition Social Worker paying £34 per hour!
You will be tasked with picking up a steady caseload and conducting assessments to determine the respective outcome for the child that will be transitioning through to adulthood. The team has a real togetherness about them with managers being approachable and on hand when support is needed, and the monthly supervision they provide is thorough with managers dedicating their time to give feedback and support.
Caseloads are capped at 20 but this doesn’t mean you will be given a caseload of 20 on your arrival. Managers will give you a steady caseload to start, this will rise depending on the influx of cases. Overall the team is very satisfied with their current caseload.
You will also be able to claim back TOIL that you have accrued weekly, so any extra hours of overtime you have built can be paid out, as well as a full 37 hours if your taking a holiday! The local authority also understand the importance of self-care and personal growth so you'll have access to designated reflective spaces in which the team will have huddles as a group to discuss cases and enable peer reflection!
If you want to know more, please apply, or email Tommy at tommy@leadersincare.co.uk for more details (or call on 078284 97807).
Leaders in Care can offer a rate of £34/h, along with a service that has received 370 5* Google reviews – this means weekly check ins, support on your placement, and a market leading timesheet & payroll system that means Fridays are no longer a stress of refreshing your bank to see if your money is coming!
As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
