As a Ward Manager, you will:

  • Lead the service to meet key performance indicators and ensure the department runs efficiently and safely.
  • Manage the inpatient services team, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
  • Handle complaints and patient feedback in line with company policy.
  • Ensure effective stock management and financial compliance.
  • Conduct audits and implement action plans.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to attract consultants and develop the service.
  • Maintain close relationships with external organisations to standardise and share best practices.
  • Embed Clinical Governance and risk management in daily practice.

The ideal Ward Manager will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with an NMC pin.
  • Have experience working in an acute environment.
  • Be an experienced Clinical Manager, ideally with experience on a busy ward.
  • Possess a range of skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
  • Ideally have experience in a similar private hospital setting.
  • Have prior experience at Ward Manager level or similar
